WATCH: 6 lives affected by stigma in Kalamazoo County

We’re proud to premiere a brand-new #LookBeyond video that explains the #BeStigmaFree campaign through the voices of Mia, Anna, Latrieva, Michael, Isaiah and Amy. Whether due to mental illness, substance use or disability, these individuals and their loved ones have experienced the stigma of “othering,” and they explain what it feels like with heartfelt honesty. Learn why they believe it’s time to #LookBeyond stigma in Kalamazoo County. Please watch and share!

Hear six people affected by stigma share their stories in this overview of the #LookBeyond: #BeStigmaFree campaign. #LookBeyond aims to reduce stigma and increase understanding, support and positive attitudes toward people throughout Kalamazoo County who are living with and/or are affected by mental illness, substance use disorders or developmental disabilities.
